25th Antique & Classic Wooden Boat Show June 6, 2009!
We say it every year but….."There is nothing quite like the sound of wood on water!"
Southern Californians have the opportunity to see some of the rarest and beautiful antique and classic wooden boats still in existence on Lake Arrowhead as the 25th Annual Antique and Classic Wooden Boat Show takes place June 6 at Lake Arrowhead Village.
The show will feature a variety of wooden boats, moored on the water at Lake Arrowhead. This year’s collection represents various classic boat manufacturers of days gone by including Chris Craft, Century, Gar Wood, Thompson, and a few other lesser known but equally impressive companies.
As an added enhancement to the weekend there will be many classic “woodie” cars displayed throughout Lake Arrowhead Village during the boat show. The show hours are 9am – 4pm Saturday. The price to view the boats on the docks is $5 per person.
Other groups participating in the show include the Antique Outboard Motor Club and the Inland Nautical Society who will have displays, the Rim of the World Historical Society and there will be commemorative items to purchase.
The Lake Arrowhead Antique and Classic Wooden Boat Show is the premier wooden boat show in Southern California and the only one in the area that is judged. This is the first event of the summer season at Lake Arrowhead and one of the biggest of the year.

- ALA Members: 1 Ticket = 2 admissions. Please bring your ALA ID to the event
